We automate and digitalize your training and control needs.

Behind DigiQuip is one of Norway's fastest growing rental companies, Sørby Utleie.
Sørby Utleie saw that it was important for the industries we work towards, to create a digital value chain that strengthens collaboration, and which provides an innovative and sustainable development for the future.
DigiQuip's main goal is to develop software that create safer and more sustainable workplaces, while ensuring compliance and environmental sustainability.
Sustainability and the environment is in our DNA
Sørby Utleie has built one of the world's most environmentally friendly rental depots. The whole building is built of renewable wood, they collect rainwater from all roof surfaces underground, and uses the rainwater to wash the machines that return from rent. The rainwater is recycled and used again and again before it is finally cleaned 99% clean and sent to the sewer. In addition to this, we also have solar panels on all roof surfaces that both operate the building and charge our electrical machines.
The rental depot is designed for a sustainable, environmentally friendly and digital future.

Why DigiQuip?
Sørby Utleie focus on how to digitize the rental process. Much of it is easy to achieve, such as booking and self-service solutions. The biggest challenge we saw was to train our customers and at the same time give them security and the documentation they need as employers.

The project started with the establishment of an internal working group, whose task was to create good 3D animated training videos. The purpose of the training videos was for our customers to understand on their own how our machines should be operated, without us having to manually show them. We made many videos of our best selling products and launched this for our customers and it was a huge success!

Our customers understood the training, and we saved a lot of time on reduced manual and inconsistent training.
At the same time, our customers received digital documentation that they had completed their equipment training. This was a win-win situation for both us and the customer.

Our contractors experienced similar challenges to us in training their employees, who often work for several companies, using a combination of their own and rental equipment.
The main challenge was still the same, the employees need good and effective training in accordance to the law, and such training must be documented.

Our internal solution turned out to be almost perfect for the industry, and we soon realised that in order to solve these challenges for us and for our contractors, we would need to create a unified platform for everyone.

To solve this challenge, we realized that the industry must collaborate and therefore we created DigiQuip
Rental companies and machine owners are often an intermediary between the manufacturer and user of a machine. The challenge is that information about the machine itself stops at the rental company or machine owner, and this often leads to both incomplete and manual processes. This is especially true regarding booking, training of users, documentation of daily control, reporting, and publishing content to the web.
DigiQuip solves this challenge with strong integrations and by entering into partnerships with rental companies and manufacturers.

This enables automatic and consistent content distribution from DigiQuip's machine register and down to the actual user of the machine.
Digiquip can be used beyond construction. We see similar challenges in industries like shipyards, workshops, warehouses, and other related industries.
Digiquips main purpose is to bring industries together, and collaborate on solutions that benefits everyone and keeps the industry safe and sustainable for everyone.
